Top three teams with longest unbeaten streak in PKL history

Season 11 of the competition saw a long record-breaking unbeaten streak produced by the Dabang Delhi.
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has become extremely popular in India in a short period, allowing fans to watch talented domestic and foreign players in action. In the last decade, the enthusiasm of fans towards Kabaddi has increased due to the high standard of this league, and the desire to participate in the sport is growing even in foreign countries.
It is sometimes hard to predict which team will emerge on the top of the table due to the lack of a gap in quality. Furthermore, as the teams are so evenly matched, going on long unbeaten streaks takes a lot of sustained effort.
It is difficult to remain undefeated for long periods in the Pro Kabaddi League, but the past has given us some incredible teams that have remained undefeated for long periods. Staying on the topic, here’s a look at the top three teams with the longest unbeaten streaks in the PKL’s history.
Jaipur Pink Panthers – 13 matches
The Jaipur Pink Panthers became the first-ever champions of the Pro Kabaddi League. Over the years, the outfit employed talented players and won the title twice.
However, in season 10 of the PKL, the Panthers, led by Sunil Kumar, went on a 13-match unbeaten streak after winning only one in four matches previously. Although the team reached the playoffs, it could not progress beyond the semi-finals.

Puneri Paltan – 14 matches
Puneri Paltan held the record for the longest unbeaten run of 14 matches until it was beaten in season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League. The winners of the 10th season of the competition defeated Haryana Steelers in the final and extended their unbeaten streak into the next season.
They started the 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League with two wins, taking their unbeaten streak to 14 matches. However, Tamil Thalaivas ended their winning streak.
Dabang Delhi – 15 matches
Dabang Delhi holds the record for the longest unbeaten streak in the Pro Kabaddi League’s history. The outfit recorded a 15-match unbeaten run during the 11th season of the competition, which played a key role in helping them reach the semi-final.
However, the campaign for the Naveen Kumar-led Dabang Delhi ended in heartbreak, as they lost the semi-final to Patna Pirates thus ending their streak. After the semis, Naveen said reaching the playoffs despite losing five of the first seven matches was a big achievement for the team.
