Top five PKL stars playing in UPKL

Several PKL stars are participating in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League.

Following the format of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) has commenced in Uttar Pradesh. There will be many thrilling matches played daily until August 25. A total of eight teams are participating in this league. Teams such as Yamuna Yoddhas, Noida Ninjas, Kashi Kings, Awadh Ramdoots, Brij Stars, Sangam Challengers, Ayodhya Warriors, and Ganga Kings of Mirzapur are playing in this league.

In the UP Kabaddi League, not only local players but also many famous players are participating. Some stars from the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) are part of this league. They have showcased their talents in PKL and are now demonstrating their skills in the UPKL as well. Let us now tell you about the five big PKL players participating in this league.

5. Harendra Kumar – Kashi Kings

Harendra Kumar is an excellent defender. He used to play for UP Yoddhas in the Pro Kabaddi League. Playing at the left cover, Harendra made significant contributions to the team in many matches. He scored 15 tackle points in 15 matches and also achieved one high five. In the previous 9th season, he was also part of UP Yoddha, where he played a total of 21 matches and scored 26 points. He also played for UP Yoddha in the seventh and eighth seasons. Now, in the UP Kabaddi League, he is playing for Kashi Kings.

4. Robin Chaudhary – Bridge Stars

Robin Chaudhary made his debut during the 10th season of PKL. Playing for Telugu Titans, he made a significant impact. He played a total of 18 matches for his team and scored 55 raid points during that time. Although Telugu Titans performed poorly in the 10th season of PKL, Robin Chaudhary, as a young player, impressed a lot. He is now part of Bridge Stars in the UPKL.

3. Ashu Singh – Awadh Ramdoots

Right-cover defender Ashu Singh has also been part of PKL. He played a total of 18 matches for UP Yoddha during the 10th season and scored 22 points. However, his performance during the 9th season was outstanding, as he scored 49 tackle points in 23 matches. He also scored 53 tackle points in 23 matches during the 8th season. In the UP Kabaddi League, Ashu Singh is part of the Awadh Ramdoots team.

2. Sahul Kumar – Kashi Kings

Sahul Kumar is one of the veteran defenders in the Pro Kabaddi League, playing since the first season. He played a crucial role in making Jaipur Pink Panthers champions during the 9th season. He played a total of 24 matches in that season and scored 57 tackle points. During the 10th season, he also scored 39 points in 21 matches, including 5 super tackles. In UPKL, Sahul Kumar is part of the Kashi Kings team and will take responsibility at the right corner.

1. Arjun Deshwal – Lucknow Lions

Arjun Deshwal needs no introduction in the world of kabaddi. He played a valuable role in making Jaipur Pink Panthers the PKL champions during the 9th season. Arjun Deshwal scored 296 points in 24 matches that season. He was the raider with the most raid points in the season.

During the 10th season, his performance was also outstanding. Arjun Deshwal scored 278 points in 23 matches and was the joint top raider of the season along with Ashu Malik. Arjun Deshwal is also participating in the UP Kabaddi League. He is part of the Lucknow Lions team.
