The announcement has been made for the organization of the 33rd Junior Girls National Kabaddi Championship under the auspices of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India. This time, the Bihar State Kabaddi Federation will host the event, and matches will be played from March 31 at the Patliputra State Complex in Patna. The final match will also be played on April 3 on the same ground.

This tournament will provide an opportunity for young kabaddi players of India to showcase their talent. Coaches and talent scouts will keep an eye on this tournament, and hence every player will strive to perform better. Those players who perform well here may get entry into the Kabaddi Academy. Matches will be played under the single round-robin format, followed by knockout and final rounds. Anjani Kumar Singh, President of the Bihar State Kabaddi Federation, will be the Chief Guest at the tournament’s opening ceremony. Distinguished kabaddi players Tejaswini Bai and Sachin Tawar will also be present at the event.

Haryana won the title of the previous edition of the tournament. They defeated Tamil Nadu 43-27 in the final match. Before this, Haryana also won the title of the Men’s Edition of this tournament. It was organized in Motihari, Bihar, from March 16 to 19, where Haryana defeated the Sports Authority of India in the final match. Bihar and Andhra Pradesh were awarded the bronze medal.
