Ayan Lohchab (Haryana), Bharat Hooda (Services), Arjun Deshwal (Uttar Pradesh), Ashu Malik (Railways), Deepak Sankar (Tamil Nadu), Aditya Shinde (Maharashtra), Nitesh Kumar (Haryana), Anil (Himachal Pradesh), and Uday Parte (Madhya Pradesh) are a few players to watch out for in the tournament.
Services defeated Railways in the 71st Senior National Kabaddi Championship final at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. The score read 30-30 at the full-time whistle, and they headed into extra time to decide the winner.
Services Captain Naveen Kumar performed brilliantly as his team won the title after a 10-year hiatus, having last won in 2015. Punjab and Uttar Pradesh finished as the semi-finalists. The latter side lost 42-34 to the Railways, while Punjab lost 43-35 to eventual champions, Services.
