India's top martial artists to clash at 4th Transient Captains Cup 2025 in Kolkata

The Transient Captains Cup returns with 12 elite teams, showcasing kickboxing, karate, and jiu-jitsu talent from across India.
The battlefield is ready, and warriors from every corner of the country are gearing up for India’s most electrifying martial arts tournament — the 4th Transient Captains Cup 2025, slated to explode into action from August 15–17 at Silver Point School, Kolkata.
Organized by the National Combat Sports Federation (NCSF) in partnership with Mike’s Martial Arts, this year’s edition promises more adrenaline, more talent, and more grit than ever before.
From Mumbai to Assam, Darjeeling to Barrackpore, 12 powerhouse teams will converge on Kolkata to compete in a dazzling array of combat styles, including Kickboxing, Kyokushin Karate, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The lineup includes elite academies from across the country like Combatant Sports Academy (Mumbai), Anbu’s Combat Club (Darjeeling), Rhino MFC (Assam), Gladiator Academy (Barrackpore), while the City of Joy will be represented by Mikes Martial Arts, Alpha Fitness and Self Defence, Battleborn Warrior Sports, The Combat Gym, Kratoz Combat, Fitclub Combat, Oyama Dojo, — all ready to test their mettle in front of roaring crowds.
“This year, we’re not just hosting a tournament — we’re unleashing a nationwide celebration of martial excellence,” said Sensei Mayukh Banerjee, Founder of Mike’s Martial Arts. “It’s thrilling to welcome some of the best talent from across India to our city. Expect powerful strikes, breathtaking submissions, and the kind of heart that defines true warriors.”
With more than a hundred top-tier competitors expected, the Captains Cup continues to be a launchpad for future legends, while also championing women’s participation and youth development in combat sports.

The Transient Captains Cup is a national-level martial arts tournament organized by the National Combat Sports Federation (NCSF) in collaboration with Mike’s Martial Arts. It features top athletes competing in disciplines like kickboxing, Kyokushin karate, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
