‘Ramayana’ first look revealed: Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sunny Deol & more

India’s most highly anticipated first glimpse of Nitest Tiwari’s Ramayana has finally been released on July 3, 2025 and the Indian fans are all excited with the star-studded cast.

This sneak glimpse, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as the menacing Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, teases a spectacular two-part film version of the ancient Indian legend.

Star-studded cast of Ramayana

Ramayana’s first glimpse was released across nine Indian cities and was showcased on New York’s iconic Times Square billboards.

This upcoming Indian legend story is packed with an amazing cast. Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as the menacing Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman.

The beautiful score and music will be produced by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The story for the movie is written by Shridhar Raghavan.

The preview provides a taste of the epic battle between Rama and Ravana, combining a rich storyline with cutting-edge visuals.

The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who is known for movies like Dangal, Chhichhore, Chillar Party and many other films.

The film is filmed for IMAX and VFX is done by DNEG (8-time Academy Award winners). Ramayana is presented by Prime Focus Studios in association with Monster Mind Creations.

Mark your calendars as the first part will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second part will be released on Diwali 2027.
