Now, this cameo directly ties into the broader universe of James Gunn’s DCEU, especially for Peacemaker Season 2, which is premiering on HBO Max on August 21, 2025.

This jingoistic, peace-loving anti-hero first made an appearance in 2021, in The Suicide Squad, which was loved by fans a lot and later got his own series.
