The second-in-command tactician spent four years with the lions.

Delhi Dynamos and their assistant coach Shakti Chauhan has parted ways with the club after the two parties came to a mutual agreement on the decision, thus bringing an end to a 4-year long relationship.

Chauhan decided to look for a new challenge and the club wished him the best for his future endeavours.

When asked about it, Chauhan said, "All is well between me & DDFC. The only reason I wanted to leave was to upgrade myself as a coach. I am currently holding AFC A Licence & so I decided to take a break this year to complete my Pro-Licence."

"I will be prepared for the next year & if there is a merger then I can see a good chance to lead some team with the four years of ISL experience along with my Pro qualification. I am thankful to DDFC for giving me the opportunity to work & learn from top coaches & players throughout this amazing four season," he added.

The former TFA coach was instrumental in guiding the club to back-to-back semi-final finishes in season 2 and season 3 and his tactical acumen was well respected in the Dynamos camp.
