Wolves are only the third side in English football history to eliminate both Manchester United and Liverpool in the same FA Cup campaign.

Manchester United's fairy tale ride under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer encountered a major bump last night as the Red Devils were knocked out of FA Cup by Wolverhampton Wanderers. Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota scored for Wolverhampton Wanderers while Rashford managed to pull one back for his team in the injury time. Yesterday's defeat was United's second loss in a row having lost 2-0 to Arsenal in their last Premier League game.

Speaking in the post-match interview, United's gaffer assured a strong comeback to the fans in the upcoming fixtures which includes Champions League Quarterfinals tie against Barcelona.

"[We'll be] ready to go again after [the] internationals, Man United in April and May always find form. We can't wait for the challenge for this and big nights like when Barcelona come. We've got so many highlights to look forward to," he added, referring to a tie against the Catalan giants in the Champions League quarter-finals.

"The players? Don't worry about their attitude because when they come back again we'll give it a good go," said Ole.

The caretaker manager also sent a message to his player about recharging themselves during the international break.

"To the players who go away with international teams, go and enjoy, go and play as well as you can. Some of them have been called back into a squad, maybe that gives them a boost, but we just need to come back recharged. Whatever you are doing, if you have days off, or play with the national team, come back with a big smile, loads of energy and be ready for the league and Champions League," he added.

England's ex-striker Alan Shearer believes that the last night's defeat is a big worrying sign for Ole and Manchester United as the team looked "absolutely shattered" throughout the game.

"Wolves thoroughly deserved it, they were much the better team, their game plan worked to perfection."

"They knew they would get chances in the second half and they took them. Manchester United looked absolutely shattered," said Shearer.

The game against Wolverhampton was Manchester United's seventh game in a span of a month or so which clearly explains the lack of energy on the field. With injury concerns around the international break will surely serve as a breather for United's players.

Manchester United will play against Watford on Saturday 30th March followed by the game against Wolverhampton on 3rd April before hosting Barcelona on Thursday,11th April.
