East Bengal rope in Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho

The Red and Gold have made another addition to bolster their title challenge.
East Bengal have recently shown passion to go on and prove themselves on the field, as they came victorious from an away match against Minerva Punjab. It was a do-or-die match for the Red and Golds to keep Minerva within their reach and now the league is set for an edge of the seat finish.
Hence, East Bengal are bolstering their squad and finally bringing in someone to replace Bazzou Armand. The club has signed Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho. Aucho is a midfielder who has experience of playing in European leagues. He last played for OFK Beograd, a club in Serbia.
The 24-year old central midfielder was also a part of Red Star Belgrade at a point in time, but he never got a chance to feature for them in an official game. Aucho was so impressive for his Kenyan side Gor Mahia FC that he was heavily linked with a number of Scottish sides, including Dundee United, Rangers and Aberdeen. But, things did not turn out well as he was handed only trials for the clubs and Aucho joined Baroka FC, a club in South Africa. He later moved to Serbia and joined Red Star Belgrade and was immediately loaned to OFK Boegrad.

[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Aucho was very impressive during his stint at Gor Mahia FC in Kenya where he helped the side to win a bunch of trophies. The 24-year old can really make a difference with his arrival in the I-League and the Red and Gold will be delighted to have a player of his stature in their ranks.
Aucho will definitely help to bolster the squad for East Bengal and will give Khalid Jamil more variety in midfield. The club are looking to continue their good form and they need to keep going if they want to break the duck this season and finally lift the trophy.
