Exclusive: Gokulam Kerala boost squad with another Ugandan
Henry Kisekka will join Mudde Musa in the Gokulam camp.
Newcomers to the I-League, Gokulam Kerala have decided to bring in Ugandan attacker Henry Kiskekka on a deal until the end of the season, sources close to the club have revealed to Khel Now. Henry is the second foreign recruitment made by the side in the January transfer window.
Gokulam Kerala are floundering in the league, and sit at the bottom of the table. To turn things around, head coach Bino George has decided to bolster their ranks with foreign attackers.
They've released Odafa Okolie, and Kamo Bayi, as reported by Khel Now, and they've no active foreign players in their attacking front. The inclusion of Henry, 31-year-old attacker, who is adept at scoring goals will likely help Gokulam keep the momentum they've got after defeating Shillong Lajong in the previous clash.
Meanwhile, Henry has arrived in India, and will join the team camp soon. It's also reliably understood that Mudde Musa's Ugandan relations have led the player to the team from where he was playing, and sources have also revealed that the player was ready to take a cut in his salary until the end of the season.

Henry has vast experience plying his trade in many leagues in Uganda and Vietnam. The player has also featured for the Ugandan national team.
The team is also looking to rope in on an Argentinian attacker, with whom they are currently negotiating. Although, the club concealed the name and details of the Argentinian, it is believed talks are progressing well.
Bino George, who said "We are waiting for two more strikers to join the team. We have a week's time. They will strengthen the team.", after the win against Shillong Lajong, is also considering various options other than the Argentinian.
