With just their last match in the fray, the table of Group A seems to be sorted.
Delhi Dynamos registered their second win of the I-League Second Division as they beat local rivals Delhi United F.C. in their penultimate match of Group A. A first-half goal from striker Seiminmang Manchong helped Dynamos record their second win since beating Lonestar Kashmir in the first game of the season.
After a disappointing defeat in the previous match, Head Coach Fran Perez opted to make multiple changes to the starting line-up. Goalkeeper Mohit Dhayal, Mayank Deswal and Nijwm Machury all came into the playing XI while Krishan Kumar, Aaron Rodrigues and Sukhadev Patil were dropped to the bench.
Dynamos had the first chance of the game inside the first five minutes as Uma Shankar’s perfectly weighted pass found Mayank, but the forward’s effort was well saved by the Delhi United goalkeeper. Five minutes later, the hosts had a great chance of their own but Mohit denied striker Konan from close range.

The deadlock was finally broken in the additional time of the first half. Manchong’s excellent first touch allowed him to create space for himself and then unleashed an absolute stunner from 25-yards out leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
