Watch: ATK 0-1 NorthEast United highlights
ATK
Arindam Bhattacharya 5.5
Barely had any save to make in the first half, but was left sweating when Ogbeche’s shot went wide. He almost caused trouble by scuffling in a corner and could not really do anything to save the powerful header from Rowllin.
Aiborlang Khongjee 6.0
The right-back was again a targeted figure. Khongjee looked to be struggling at his role and was nervy defending against the pace of Kadam and Tlang. Did well to recover in the second half, making four clearances and a few interceptions to improve his performance level.
Sena Ralte 3.0
Ralte looked shaken up with Redeem’s presence on the left and made a bad foul to earn his first yellow. Showed a complete lack of maturity with his poor second challenge which made him the first player to get a red card in ISL 5 and left ATK in a vulnerable position.
Pronay Halder 6.0
Pronay struggled to retain possession for his side and didn’t look to be linked with El Maimouni. Received a needless yellow-card early in the first half and played too safe after that. Became quite defensive in the second period, but did well to sniff out chances and disable NorthEast’s move through the middle. Received a glorious chance for an equalizer in the end, but couldn’t do anything.
Jayesh Rane N/A
Rane was again inefficient on the left and failed to show any sparks in his game. Couldn’t create anything and was unluckily subbed after the red card.
Balwant Singh 6.0
Balwant started the game centrally but had to move to the left after the red card. He showed some promising movement and linked impressively with Lanzarote initially. Had to revert to a defensive role after the card and could only make a few decent runs through the left. Should’ve done better in defending the corner from which they scored.
Substitutions
Ricky Lallawmawma 6.0
Ricky shifted into defence pretty well in his ISL debut. He maintained a good positioning strength in defence and kept the wingers at bay throughout. Had an ambitious shot saved late in the game.
Hitesh Sharma N/A
The young midfielder came on in the final minutes and couldn’t do anything.

NorthEast United FC
T.P. Rehenesh 7.0
Rehenesh looked a bit shaky with his distribution but grew in confidence as the game progressed. Made some stunning saves to keep out Lanzarote, including a diving one in the second half. Earned his clean-sheet after an excellent performance after a long time.
Reagan Singh 6.5
Reagan was solid defensively and completely neutralized the threat of Jayesh Rane on the left. He made six clearances and a couple of blocks in what was a mature performance from the promising full-back.
Robert Lalthlamuana 6.0
Robert covered up for the missing Keegan well and made sure ATK couldn’t utilize the wings that well. Made some strong tackles and was decent with his distribution forward.
Rowllin Borges 8.0
Rowllin completely dominated the game for the Highlanders. He was fantastic with his distribution, creating some decent chances for his side. Had a terrific 92% passing accuracy and played the role of a perfect anchor for NorthEast. Capped off an excellent performance with a stunning header in the final minute to win it for the Highlanders.
Redeem Tlang 6.5
Redeem completely terrorized Sena on his flank and was superb with his movement forward. Made some clever runs forward and created a terrific chance for Ogbeche in the first half.
Nikil Kadam 6.0
Kadam was really impressive with his work on the day. He was really clever on both the wings and showed encouraging movement. The Former Mohun Bagan winger’s crosses were great and allowed him to create quite a few chances.
