Both tacticians remained positive after the game despite being unable to clinch all three points.
Delhi Dynamos continued their upswing in form as The Lions drew with third-placed FC Goa on Monday night. The goalless draw means that The Gaurs are five points behind league leaders Bengaluru FC, who still have a game in hand.
Talking to the press after the game, the head coach of Delhi, Josep Gombau said, "I am satisfied with the way we played today. We had a tough side in front of us and the side that scores a lot of goals. I think we played well and I’m satisfied with how we defended."
He added, "We created a few chances, if we had taken one of these then we would have won the game. We kept on making chances and that is something I am satisfied with the gameplan."

Delhi are numerically out of the playoffs race, but keeping the squad motivated when you do not have anything tangible to fight for is difficult. Gombau insists that the squad is upbeat for the forthcoming Super Cup. The coach said, "All my players are very professional. We have the Super Cup to work on now. Everyone is motivated to do well in that tournament. We are playing good football and creating good chances."
He added, "Even in the beginning when we weren't getting the results, we played good football. But, I am satisfied. We play a game in the next three days and we are looking forward to playING NorthEast (United)."
The defence has been a problem for Delhi. However, the tactician remains hopeful as he said, "We are doing less mistakes in the defence now and that is clear with consecutive clean-sheets."
"We need to focus on the three away games and one home game. Then we will focus on the Super Cup," he added.
He continued, "I am satisfied with the game. We played really well against Goa in the away game. It is good to hold a team of Goa's calibre to a draw."

Hailing from the same region as Josep Gombau and having spent most of the early stage of his coaching life with him, Sergio Lobera failed to do a double against his friend. FC Goa had won their first game back in November but had to settle for a draw in Delhi.
He added, "It's true that we had a few chances today but what was lacking today was the freshness because of stress. It is three games in eight days now."
The next three games are going to be difficult for the Gaurs are they have yet another tight schedule ahead of them, adding to it is the pressure of making into the playoffs.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]"I think the problem of playoffs is not done yet. This league gives many chances to the team and if we think we are there then we are making a big mistake."
Lobera continued, "We have another ten days to get ready for the last stage of the competition and from the four remaining games, we are playing three at home and if we are strong at home, I think we have good chance in going in the playoffs."
