Both sides didn't disappoint as a late equalizer from Pranjal Bhumij saved the day for the Maharashtra-based club.

Kerala Blasters played dominant football right from the start. David James' side tested Jorge Costa's side and should have scored more than one goal. Meanwhile, Jorge Costa's side displayed a much-improved show in the second half and pressed Kerala to concede. It eventually paid of as Pranjal Bhumij scored a stunner to restore parity, to the frustration of the vociferous Manjappada.

Watch: Kerala Blasters 1-1 Mumbai City

Here's how the Indian Players from both sides performed in this ISL fixture:

Kerala Blasters

Dheeraj Singh - 6

Another impressive performance by this young shot-stopper. Saved Kerala Blasters from conceding whenever Mumbai tried. Looked confident throughout the game.  In the 87th minute of the game, he failed to collect the ball properly. Dheeraj couldn't do much for Bhumij's shot, as it was destined for the back of the net.

Sandesh Jhingan -  8

Led by example, Sandesh Jhingan was a commanding presence for Kerala Blasters and kept Modou Sougou at bay. He was aerially dominant, made numerous good tackles and interceptions. Should have got on the scoresheet had his headers hit the target. Nevertheless, there was a moment when he, unwantedly, went forward, which eventually forced Dheeraj to make a save.

Mohamad Rakip - 6

The 18-year-old defender was tenacious at the back for Kerala Blasters as he contained the movements of opposition players well. There was a moment of brilliance from this youngster when he threaded a diagonal ball into the path Narzary, but the movement ended with a wonderful save from Amrinder. Nevertheless, Rakip was only average while going forward.

Lalruatthara - 7

Last season's Emerging Player Award winner, Lalruatthara delivered another solid outing for Kerala Blasters against the Islanders. The former Aizawl defender made crucial interceptions and tackles and prevented Jorge Costa's side from capitalizing on opportunities.

Sahal Abdul Samad - 6

His performance today underlined the fact that Sahal is a good dribbler. However, the youngster from Kerala, who made his second consecutive start in the playing eleven, has a lot to improve when it comes to passing the ball properly.

Halicharan Narzary - 8

Scored Kerala Blasters' only goal in the match. The former Northeast United FC attacker was a menacing presence on the left flank. Narzary supported Lalruatthara defensive and made a little contribution to the defence as well.

Seiminlen Doungel - 6

Delivered a good game for Kerala Blasters. It was Len, who assisted Kerala Blasters' first goal as Narzary fired a shot past hapless Amrinder Singh. However, the 24-year-old attacker scuffed two open opportunities, which he could have easily converted.

Substitutes:

CK Vineeth - 5

Replaced Seiminlen Doungel in the second half, however, he could not score any goals in front of the Manjappada.

Mumbai City FC

Amrinder Singh - 6

The Mumbai goalkeeper made some key saves

Made a few good saves and denied Kerala Blasters from scoring more. However, he could have done better to stop Narzary from opening the cards for the home side.

Souvik Ghosh - 4

The 25-year-old had a busy day at office. Throughout the game, he was floundering to cope with the pace and creativity of opposition attackers. He should have done better for the visitors.

Raynier Fernandes -  6

Was one of Mumbai City FC's best players on the pitch. Raynier initiated some attacking movements for the Islanders. The 22-year-old, who joined from I-League giants Mohun Bagan, delivered a few accurate passes for his teammate, but KBFC's commanding defence nullified the effect.

Subhasish Bose - 5

A modest performance from Bose. The brilliant work-rate and co-ordination of Slavisa Stojanovic and Matej Poplatnik meant he would have a busy game.

Souvik Chakrabarti - 6

In a game, which Kerala Blasters dominated, Souvik Chakrabarti had only little to do for Mumbai in the attack. Chakrabarti, though, was a strong presence in defence for the visiting side. His alarming presence helped Mumbai stop Kerala from wreaking havoc. However, Kerala Blasters attackers, on a few occasions, got the better off Souvik. Meanwhile, he could have a scored a goal for Mumbai, had his shot in the 69th minute of the game found the target.

Sehnaj Singh - 4

On an attacking perspective, Sehnaj Singh only delivered an average performance. On a defensive note, he was good for Mumbai City FC.
