Delhi Dynamos appoint Thangboi Singto as assistant coach
The tactician is a household name in Indian football and was previously with Kerala Blasters.
Delhi Dynamos have announced the signing of Thangboi Singto as their assistant coach for the upcoming season. The former assistant coach and technical director of Youth Development of Kerala Blasters, Singto is one of the most reputed coaches in the country.
Prior to his stint with the Blasters, he was instrumental in shaping up Shillong Lajong FC, where he worked for four seasons. The 45-year-old Manipuri coach is known for trusting and promoting young players, particularly from the northeast. His extensive knowledge about the talent pool from the region has made him one of the biggest assets in Indian football.
The coach was also excited to embark on a new journey with the club as he said, “It gives me immense pleasure in joining Delhi Dynamos. The positive talks and plans for the club that transpired during meeting the director, CEO and Head Coach Josep Gombau convinced me that I can come here and contribute in improving the footballing aspects of the club.”

Head Coach Josep Gombau also extended a welcome to the coach as he said, “We are so happy to have Singto with us. He has a lot of experience and knows the league very well. Welcome to the club.”
