Exclusive: FC Goa complete signing of Shillong Lajong's Aibanbha Dohling
The 23-year-old is a long-throw specialist and will be a good addition to Sergio Lobera's squad.
After a terrific domestic football campaign, just like any other top club, FC Goa have been pretty busy in the off-season with transfers and other necessities for 2019-20 season. Now it looks like the Gaurs have added a reinforcement to their backline.
According to Khel Now sources, the reigning Super Cup champions have completed the signing of Shillong Lajong defender Aibanbha Dohling.
According to our understanding, the defender's contract with Lajong was completed after the 2018-19 season. Also our sources have mentioned that Dohling has signed a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old defender can play anywhere on defence, especially as a right-back or a centre-back; although he is strongest as a centre-back.

The defender came under the limelight during his tenure with TFA. Since 2016, he has been a part of Lajong's set-up, becoming a crucial player, and becoming the second captain too. This season in the I-League, he played in 19 fixtures.
Being a long-throw specialist, Aibanbha is a good addition to this high-flying FC Goa side, who have impressed us all lately with their excellent style of playing football.
