Unai Emery pleased with Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil

The German was awarded the man of the match award while the Welsh midfielder scored the opener.
In the Monday night kick-off at Emirates, Arsenal ran past Newcastle United in style as they scored a goal in each half to end the game 2-0. Counting his days in the gunners kit, Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring at the half-hour mark and later Alexandre Lacazette doubled the lead at the 83rd-minute mark.
Arsenal boss, Unai Emery was pleased with the result as it took them to the third position with having two-point lead ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United and three points off Chelsea.
The Spanish tactician pointed out that there was one player he was most impressed with and he was none other than Mesut Ozil. "I like how every player is playing and Mesut with his quality is helping us and giving us his work," he said. "Also individual moments and skills, he has the capacity to help us."
Ozil has started just four games since the Boxing Day fixture and has been in the round of talks since then for his style of play and the demands of the standard from Emery for the German footballer.
"Mesut is playing like we want, with the system and tactically. He is working a lot and after that work he is also giving us his quality," the coach said.
Talking about the table, he said, "Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United will win a lot of matches. It's going to be difficult and the next game at Everton is very difficult. We need to continue being consistent, continue creating a big mentality, learning when we need to struggle and when we need to push together."

Ramsey, in the winter transfer window, has agreed to a deal to join Juventus ahead of the next season in July.
