The former Dortmund manager wants to give more of his time in focusing and nurturing the likes of Naby Keita, Alisson, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has made his transfer plans clear for the club as the German tactician feels there is no need of spending on big-money moves in the coming summer.

The former Dortmund manager wants to give more of his time in focusing and nurturing the likes of Naby Keita, Alisson, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri who arrived at Anfield last season. Moreover, the German tactician wants to develop the players he has at his disposal and has denied the possibility of going gung ho in the summer transfer window.

The Red are chasing the Premier League title and will face wooden spooners, Fulham on Sunday. Before their clash, Klopp spoke to Sky Sports about their transfer plans for the summer as he said, "I don't want to talk exactly what we will do, but I don't think this is a team at the moment where we have to spend the big money or whatever."

"The best way to do it brings together a group of players, try to develop them all together and then stay together for a while."

"That was maybe the main problem of Liverpool for the last decade. When they had a good team after a season they went all over the world. That will not happen this year for sure."

The club from Merseyside are on a two-way title race with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City currently leading the race. It is a great opportunity for Klopp's men to beat Fulham and go on top of the league table, as Manchester City won't be in action for this weekend.

Klopp also spoke about the neutral fans and their point of view on the high engaging tussle between the two clubs in the Premier League title race this season.

"I think if you are a supporter of Everton you vomit in the morning when you think 'Oh Liverpool, they are great", he added.

"Why should other people like us? That's football. So long as they don't hate us because that is a bit too much."

"We only have to be focused on what we can achieve. It's all good, it is just about us."

The Reds are hoping that they can win the league this season under Klopp's tutelage after a long drought. However the Reds have also progressed to the Champions League quarterfinals beating Bayern Munich, and the Merseyside club will now face FC Porto in the last eight. If things work out well for the 51-year German then he can have a historic season at the Anfield.
