Leicester are a team full of pace and energy- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The 45-year-old was all praises for the Foxes as he spoke about how it will be a challenge for his side to play against them.
Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the reigns at Manchester United as their caretaker manager, the Red Devils have been on cloud nine. Under him, the team won eight back-to-back games while drawing the ninth against Burnley last week, thus maintaining a solid unbeaten run.
The likes of Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford have all excelled under the Norwegian’s tutelage. The attacking quartet has produced 14 goals in the Premier League between them in their last seven fixtures which explains a superb run of form.
Ahead of their weekend tie against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, Solskjaer spoke up about his side’s chances and that the opposition is quite strong and cannot be underplayed. “They’re a team full of pace and energy, they’ll try to counter-attack us with the pace they have upfront.”
“We just have to be a bit quicker with the ball than we were against Burnley. Our build-up was okay and we didn’t give the ball away too often, but then again there wasn’t that real urgency apart from in the last 10 minutes,” he added.
On the other hand, Leicester have been in a good shape of late especially against the top teams as they defeated Chelsea and Manchester City on the go while also coming back from a goal down in only the 3rd minute of the game, to draw against a mighty Liverpool at Anfield a couple of days ago.

Speaking about the Foxes’ brilliant form, Solskjaer said, “ Of course it’s a challenge for us. We know we have to play to our best to get a result, we drew 2-2 last season.”
“The year they won the league, they were fantastic to watch and they also have a few ex-United players in Simmo (Danny Simpson), Jonny (Evans) and Matty James. Ritchie De Laet used to be there as well and Kasper (Schmeichel), we know him from him being a kid here at The Cliff!”

Expressing his views about the player, Solskjaer said, “He’s a great lad to work with. Behind that concentrated face we sometimes see- especially when I take him off (smiles)- he’s a great lad and a great character who is always smiling.”
“He wants to improve we’ve had a couple of chats about what he needs to improve on. It’s great for the club to tie him down to a contract because he’ll keep scoring goals for us,” added the 45-year-old as he concluded with the interview.
