Eden Hazard reaffirms his love for Chelsea while leaving the club for Real Madrid. The Belgian playmaker took to social media to leave a long message for Chelsea and its fans. The post explained how much he loves Chelsea and how the move would never have ever happened if the wanting team was not Los Blancos.

Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid in a deal reported to be worth 100m euros plus add-ons. The deal was announced on Saturday by the Los Blancos website. The deal keeps Eden Hazard at Real Madrid till 2025. The Belgian ends a seven-year-long stay at Chelsea to join Real Madrid.

In a long and emotional message for the Blues, Eden Hazard bid his adieu to the club he played for seven years. He explained how difficult it was to say goodbye to the club he joined at the age of 21.

The Belgian international won two Premier League titles, two Europa League titles and an FA Cup title. Hazard had a wonderful World Cup outing in 2018, where he powered the Red Devils to the semi-finals of the mega event.

Ever since then Hazard was linked with a move to the Los Blancos. The move of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for Juventus added fuel to the fire. Eden Hazard regularly kept on flirting with Los Blancos, further adding to the speculations.

“Now it’s in the open I would like to put on record one thing was always clear to me, I have loved every moment at Chelsea and not once did I ever consider, nor would I have left for any other club.

“Whether it’s on tour in the USA, or at Sunderland on a Tuesday night, in Russia on a Thursday, or of course EVERY game at the Bridge – you’ve always supported me and encouraged me to play football and be me."
