Revealed: Liverpool home kit for 2019-20 in remembering Bob Paisley
Fans will be dazzled with the old school design of the new kit and would be dying to see their favourite players donning it on the pitch.
It is always a very exciting time for fans when the end of the season is near, clubs unveil their new kits for the following season. The wait for Liverpool fans is now over, with the club finding the best possible time to release their new home kit for the 2019-20 season.
Just hours after the registering an easy 1-4 win away at Porto in the Champions League and booking its place in the semi finals, the club revealed its new home jersey on its website. However, it is quite intriguing to know that this time the design of the jersey is of a special kind.
The Reds have gone vintage with their jersey design as they return to the old thin stripes on the front. As stated by the officials, the jersey is dedicated to the club’s late iconic player and manager, Bob Paisley.
Paisley, who would have turned 100 next year, is very highly regarded in the Liverpool fraternity. After all, the Englishman was one of the most successful managers not just at the club but all over England and Europe.
In his nine-year managerial stint with the club, Paisley averaged 2.2 trophies per season. Under his tutelage, the Reds won 20 major honours including three European Cups and six League Championships.
