The Ugandan scored 11 goals for the southerners in all competitions.
In the most recent development, Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan roped in Gokulam Kerala talismanic striker Henry Kisekka. The Ugandan has been a revelation for the southerners as he scored eight goals and assisted four times for the Kerala-based outfit in the I-League.
The 28-year old was very impressive for Gokulam Kerala as the southern outfit beat all odds to defeat top teams in the league. They were eventually named as 'Giant Killers' and Kisekka played a pivotal role for Bino George and his men.
Gokulam Kerala failed to execute the right combination at the beginning which led to several changes in the squad. Veteran striker Odafa Okolie was released by the club and Kisekka joined as a replacement for the Nigerian. Despite joining late, the Ugandan frontrunner hardly took any time to settle to the new league.

Kisekka is the perfect man to hold up the play and he is a menace in the final third for any defence. The forward totally changed the complexion of Gokulam's attack since his arrival. He became the epicentre of all forward movements and allowed others to play around him, which led to a great comeback in the latter half of the league for the league newcomers.
The 28-year old has also proved himself in the big stage against Northeast United FC in the Super Cup qualifier, scoring a brace and guiding Gokulam to the main phase of the tournament. The Ugandan talisman didn't just stop there, he scored the only goal against Bengaluru FC in the pre-quarters of Super Cup, a fixture which they lost 2-1.

However, Mohun Bagan won the race by securing his services for next season and the Kolkata giants will hope that Kisekka can replicate his performances this season.
Moreover, it will be a challenge for Henry to cope up with the pressure of Kolkata Maidan and the way he deals with it will decide his and Mohun Bagan's fate next season.
