UCL R16 Draw: Old foes meet again as Ronaldo and Klopp face Atleti, Bayern
The draw also threw off some other exciting matches including Tottenham Vs Dortmund and Manchester United vs PSG.
In an event held in Nyon, the Union of European Football Associations conducted a live draw to set fixtures for the knockout stages of the Champions League and Europa League earlier on Monday. As they look at the paper, it is evident that the football fans cannot wait for the round to start.
Champions League
There were 16 teams amounting winners and runner-ups from eight groups with four from England, three each from Spain and Germany, two each from Italy and France, and one each from Netherlands and Portugal.

The draw, as it happened, Manchester City will be facing German powerhouse FC Schalke 04 while their cross-city rivals Manchester United face a grim challenge in the face of Paris Saint Germain. Tottenham, on the other hand, came up through a difficult group will now face Bundesliga table-toppers Borussia Dortmund. Talking on current form, Liverpool will be a bit relaxed after drawing against Bayern Munich, who are trailing at the third position in the Bundesliga, after winning six consecutive German top flight titles.

The reigning LaLiga title-holders FC Barcelona host Olympique Lyonnais, who have been in tremendous form this season. Atletico Madrid will face the Cristiano Ronaldo led Juventus. The Old Lady is on a mission to acquire the trophy after reaching the end phase of the tournament on numerous occasions in the recent past. The other Italian team, AS Roma is on a Portugal bound trip to FC Porto. Considering the odds, they are most likely to proceed.
The reigning champions, Real Madrid is set to play a dynamic Ajax side. The Dutch side scored four goals past Bayern Munich in the group stage and a tough fight could be expected from them.
