Fans and Twitterati troll Cristiano Ronaldo in his return to Spain

It was a night to forget for the Portuguese legend.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Madrid in Juventus colours to play against the side he has scored 22 goals against, Atletico de Madrid. As highly believed, Ronaldo is a beast in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League but he was a dejected figure in Wanda Metropolitano after the game.
The high-tempo match turned by the outstanding efforts of Atletico's centre-backs, scoring in quick successions in the last quarter of the game. All over the world, fans mocked the five-times Champions League winner who left Real Madrid in the summer.
Fans, especially from his former club and Atletico Madrid enjoyed the sheer fate of the player at the moment. He was seen taking a dig at Atletico as he showed his hands gesturing the number of UCLs he has won. While the heat was in Madrid, Twitter exploded all over the world on the hilarious puns toward Cristiano Ronaldo.
