In what comes as surprising news for Indian football fans, Pedro Manzi Cruz and Chennai City FC have decided to part ways in between the I-League season. But, now it looks like the Spaniard will move out of India and reportedly to Sagan Tosu in the Japanese First Division, the J-League. However, he didn’t reveal his next destination, but did mention Japan in the post. Sagan Tosu also had to fight a relegation battle to maintain their status in the top league. Chennai City are also set to start their continental outing on 14th January at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad against Bahrainian club Al Riffa in the Asian Champions League First Round Qualifiers. Akbar Nawas and the team now face the mammoth task of guiding the team for the rest of the campaign domestically and on the continent.Latest News
