Sources also confirmed that the Islanders are already on the lookout for a replacement for the left-back.
The Indian Super League season has entered its second phase and the transfer business for the next term seems to be taking place already. In the latest, Khel Now understands that Mumbai City FC left-back Subhasish Bose is all set to join ATK next summer in a record move in Indian football. The India international has been part of the Islanders since 2018 and will see his contract expire in the summer of 2020. According to our sources, the Kolkata outfit have approached Bose with a lucrative offer to sign for them. Believed to be a 'bumper' deal, it is something that the player could not afford to miss out on. If the deal falls through as planned, Subhasish Bose will become one of the highest earners among the Indian players. [KH_ADWORDS type="4" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Bose, who scored his first-ever goal in the Indian Super League last month, has been a mainstay in the Mumbai City defence. Since his arrival from Bengaluru FC in the summer of 2018, Bose established himself as a crucial first-team player under Jorge Costa. In his first season at the club, Subhasish Bose helped the Islanders attain the most number of clean-sheets (8) in the league and also led them to a playoffs spot. His eye-catching performances also earned him a spot in the Indian national team in 2018. Under Stephen Constantine, Bose also made his mark in the AFC Asian Cup in 2019. This campaign as well, the former Mohun Bagan defender has had a vital contribution in the Islanders' run for the playoffs. Appearing 12 times, Subhasish Bose has recorded a total of 595 passes - the most by any Mumbai City player. Quite simply, his presence has been invaluable for each side he has played for and his departure could turn out to be a big loss for Mumbai City. Khel Now understands that the City Football Group-owned outfit are keeping close tabs on another India international and are close to making a move in the coming weeks.Latest News
