This will be the second meeting in as many years between these two teams. India beat Denmark, who was without their top singles star Holger Rune, 4-0 in their last meeting in New Delhi in 2022. Current World No. 9 Rune, who beat Novak Djokovic in the 2022 Paris Masters final to become the youngest champion in Paris since Boris Becker in 1986, is returning in the away leg.

The India vs Denmark, Davis Cup tie will be held on February 3 and 4. Yuki Bhambri and Sumit Nagal were nominated to play the singles matches on day 1 of the clash. Rohan Bopanna will partner Yuki Bhambri in the doubles to kick-start day 2 before the return singles matches.
