WTT Star Contender 2023 Goa: Full schedule, fixtures, results and live streaming details

This is the first WTT event to take place in India.

Goa is set to host a WTT Star Contender event for the first time in India from February 27 to 5th March 2023. India have not hosted a tournament since 2017 (India Open held in New Delhi) and will be making a comeback after six years. Several top players across the world are set to participate in the event. Around 200 players from 30 countries will be participating in the WTT Star Contender Goa 2023, which will include at least five top-20 players in both the men’s and women’s singles main draws.

Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan Gnaneswaran will lead India's challenge in men's section, while Manika Batra will lead the challenge in the women's section. Close to 40 Indian players are set to take part in the event. A total of 252 matches, beginning with the qualifiers rounds on the 27th and 28th, will take place. The main draw starts on March 1st.

As many as 15 Indian paddlers, led by senior pro Harmeet Desai in men’s singles and 13, led by world number 84 Archana Kamath in the women’s singles, will take part in the qualifiers. A total of 17 Indian pairs will also be in action in thw doubles events across categories.
