Tata Open Maharashtra 2023 full fixtures, schedule, timing and telecast details
The main draw of the tournament began on January 2.
The fifth edition of the ATP 250 Tata Open Maharashtra will begin on 2nd January 2023. The world’s top players will participate in South Asia’s only ATP tournament. Overall this will be the 27th edition to take place in India with the previous editions held in Chennai. Marin Cilic will be the top-seeded and is ranked 17th in the ATP singles rankings.
A total of 15 players inside the ATP top 100 singles rankings (out of which five are inside the top 50) will be participating in the event. Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury will spearhead the doubles section and are the top-seeded.

Top Indian participants in the Tata Open Maharashtra 2023
India will be fielding experienced players in the doubles section with Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan the top two seeded players. In the previous edition, Ramanathan and Bopanna won the title but now will be partnering with different players. Ramkumar Ramanathan will combine with Varela, whereas Bopanna will partner with Zandschup (second-seeded in singles).
Yuki Bhambri and Saketh Myneni after a successful 2022 season will be looking to continue the same going forward in the 2023 season. Arjun Khade and Ramboli were awarded the Wild Card in the doubles section.
Sasikumar Mukund, Sumit Nagal and 15-year-old Manas Dhamne have been awarded wildcards in the singles section. Sasikumar Mukund is currently India’s No. 1 in the singles category and is ranked 341 in the ATP rankings. Ramkumar Ramanathan was the lone Indian to qualify for the main round through qualifiers. Ramanathan defeated the top 200 players en route to the main rounds.
