The Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2023 for senior gymnasts is scheduled to take place from June 15 to June 18, 2023, at the OCBC Arena at the Singapore Sports Hub. On the other hand, the championships for the juniors kicked off on Saturday, June 10, and ended on Sunday, June 12, 2023.
The upcoming event will act as a qualifying platform for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2023, slated to be held in Antwerp, Belgium, between September 30 and October 8, 2023. The top five teams will secure qualification spots for Paris Olympics 2024. The top athletes participating in the event are World champion Carlos Yulo, Olympic medalists Lee Chih-kai and Yeo Seo-jeong, and World Championships silver medallist Ahmad Abu Al-Soud.
India will be fielding an eight-member squad for the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2023. The senior team will be led by two-time bronze medalist, Pranati Nayak. Pranati will be aiming for her third medal in the 2023 edition of the championships. Besides Pranati Nayak, Pranati Das and Bidisha Gayen are the two gymnasts who will represent the nation in the women’s section.
