5. Sarabjot Singh (22 years, 9 months, 17 days)

Sarbjot Singh won the bronze medal with Manu Bhaker in 10m air pistol mixed team event at Paris Olympics 2024. This was India’s first Olympic medal in a shooting team event. Singh and Bhaker beat South Korea in the bronze medal playoff to create history for the nation.

He became the youngest Indian male athlete to win an Olympic medal. Singh has inspired the next generation shooters with his performance at the summer games.

4. Manu Bhaker (22 years, 5 months, 10 days)

Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in women’s 10m air pistol at Paris Olympics 2024. She became the first Indian women shooter to win an Olympic medal. Bhaker had made her Olympic debut at Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Bhaker won her second Olympic medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 with Sarabjot Singh. The pair won the bronze medal in 10m air pistol mixed team event.

Bhaker had earlier won the gold medals in ISSF World Cups and World Championships.

3. Saina Nehwal (22 years, 4 months, 18 days)

Saina Nehwal won a bronze medal in badminton at the 2012 London Olympics. She was the first Indian badminton player to win an Olympic medal. Nehwal has had a successful career in badminton, winning many international titles.

Her Olympic medal helped make badminton more popular in India. It also paved the way for other Indian badminton players to aim for Olympic success.

Aman Sehrawat created history at Paris Olympics 2024 by winning the bronze medal in men’s 57 kg freestyle wrestling. He became the youngest Olympic individual medallist for India at the age of 21 years and 24 days.

Sehrawat was making his Olympic debut at Paris but it did not deter from finishing on the podium.
