India has a mixed day on Day 8 of Paris Olympics 2024. Manu Bhaker missed on a medal by whisker and finished fourth in 25m women’s pistol event. Deepika Kumari reached back-to-back quarterfinals at Olympics. She went down against second seeded Nam Suhyeon 4-6. Bhajan Kaur lost in shootoff.

Looking ahead to Day 9, all eyes are on badminton star Lakshya Sen as he faces defending champion Viktor Axelsen.
