Malaysia at Paris Olympics 2024 will be chasing its first gold medal in the quadrennial mega event. The Southeast Asian nation has 13 medals (8 silver and 5 bronze) in the history of the competition, but no gold in colour.

They, like most neighbouring nations, have started participating in the Winter Games as well. In Summer sports, badminton has brought the most laurels for the country with six silver and three bronze medals, thus, taking their tally close to the double-digit mark.

Since the debut of the legend Lee Chong Wei, the Malaysian badminton contingent has been winning medals in every edition of the games and they would hope that this record continues in Paris. The likes of Aaron Chia and Lee Zii Jia will have to carry the hopes of the nation.
