Which events will take place outside Paris? Sports, venue details for Paris Olympics 2024

There are two main regions which will be holding events for Paris Olympics 2024.
The Paris Olympics 2024 will see over 35 venues holding up to 45 sports. These 45 sporting disciplines will have 329 events. Most of the events are to be held in different venues on certain days. Spectators and athletes will have to travel a bit for certain events which are to be held far from Paris.
The Paris Olympics 2024 is divided into two main regions: the city of Paris, Ile-De- France and a few areas around France. Majority of the events are not restricted to a single venue, while few of them will only be conducted at a fixed venue over a period of time.
There are over 20 events which will not be held in the city of Paris. Events such as surfing will be 15,000 km away from the Olympic Village. It will be held at Teahupoo in Tahiti. Sailing will take place in Marseille at Marina.
The city of Paris will also see the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop of a few events. Beach volleyball will use Eiffel Tower as the background for their matches. The fans as well as athletes will get to be part of nail-biting finishes below one of the most iconic landmarks in the world.

- Cycling Mountain Bike – Elancourt Hill (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines)
- Cycling BMX Freestyle – Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines BMX Stadium (Montigny-le-Bretonneux)
- Cycling Track – Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines Velodrome (Montigny-le-Bretonneux)
- Equestrian – Chateau de Versailles (Versailles)
- Football – Bordeaux Stadium (Bordeaux), Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium (Saint Etienne), La Beaujoire Stadium (Nantes), Lyon Stadium (Decines), Marseille Stadium (Marseille), Nice Stadium (Nice)
- Golf – Golf National (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines)
- Handball – Pierre Mauroy Stadium (Villeneuve-d’Ascq)
- Hockey – Yves-du-Manoir Stadium (Colombes)
- Modern Pentathlon – Chateau de Versailles (Versailles)
- Rowing – Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium (Vaires-sur-Marne)
- Rugby Sevens – Stade de France (Saint-Denis)
