India at Paris Olympics 2024: Table Tennis schedule, squad, live streaming details

Achanta Sharath Kamal will play his fifth Olympics.
India’s table tennis team is set to compete at the Paris Olympics 2024, hoping to win the country’s first medal in the sport. The tournaments will take place from July 27 to August 10 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
The Indian team consists of eight players, led by veteran Sharath Kamal. In the last Olympics, Kamal and Manika Batra made history by reaching the third round, the furthest any Indian players have gone in Olympic table tennis.
For the first time, India have qualified for both men’s and women’s team events. In singles, each country can only send two players. Sharath Kamal and newcomer Harmeet Desai will play in the men’s singles. For women’s singles, India’s top-ranked player Sreeja Akula will make her Olympic debut alongside two-time Olympian Manika Batra.
Manav Thakkar and Archana Kamath will also be first-time Olympians, competing in the team events.
The Indian team’s main goal is to end their medal drought in table tennis. Fans are especially hopeful about Sreeja Akula and Manika Batra’s chances of winning India’s first Olympic medal in the sport.
