Who are Team USA's flag-bearers for Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony?

The USA contingent was the largest at Paris Olympics 2024 with 592 athletes.
The Paris Olympics 2024 will see one last day of action between the athletes. One of the top performers at the event, Team USA became the first nation to win more than 100 medals at this edition. There has been intense rivalry between the USA and China in the medal tally.
The USA contingent was led by tennis sensation Coco Gauff and NBA legend Lebron James during the opening ceremony. Gauff lost in the third round in women’s singles and the second round in women’s doubles while partnering with Jessica Pegula.
She also featured in mixed doubles with Taylor Fritz and reached the quarter-finals. On the other hand, James will be playing the final in men’s basketball against France. Now, with the Games about to end, it is time for the closing ceremony which will be held at Stade de France.
There will be more than 100 performers led by Thomas Jolly who will be the artistic director of the closing ceremony. The theme of the event is to celebrate the past and embrace the future.

Who will be flag-bearers from USA contingent for Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony?
The flag-bearers for USA for the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony will be rower Nick Mead and swimmer Katie Ledecky. Mead had won gold in men’s coxless four under rowing. Meanwhile, Ledecky competed in four events and won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
Ledecky is one of America’s most decorated Olympians with 13 medals. She has won nine gold medals, four silver and one bronze. She made her Olympic debut at the age of 15 during the London Olympics in 2012.
Mead was part of the historic rowing team at Paris Olympics 2024. The men’s team won gold in the event for the first time in 64 years. Mead has also become the first rower to be chosen as a flag-bearer for the closing ceremony.
The Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony will begin on August 11 at 3pm E.T. Fans can once again witness the top USA athletes in the parade as they will be led by Mead and Ledecky.
