Team USA announce tennis contingent for Paris Olympics 2024; Madison Keys, Ben Shelton opt-out

Ben Shelton stated during the Indian Wells that he’s not keen to play in Paris Olympics 2024.
The United States Tennis Association has announced the tennis squad for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
The likes of Madison Keys, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton, and Sebastian Korda qualified on a ranking basis; however, they opted out of the tournament. Shelton claimed in March earlier this year, that he’s not interested in playing at the Paris Olympics.
Meanwhile, Madison Keys, Frances Tiafoe, and Sebastian Korda are yet to give a statement about snubbing the sporting megafest. Nevertheless, Christopher Eubanks, Tommy Paul, and Marcos Giron have been named to the US team.
On the women’s front, Emma Navarro has been named on the list in place of Madison Keys. Meanwhile, the 2023 US Open champion, Coco Gauff, will make her Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games. Here is the full list:

Russia and Belarus are yet to announce their official squads for the Paris Games. However, Russia announced that Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov, and Liudmila Samsonova wouldn’t participate in the sporting mega fest. However, Daniil Medvedev is expected to play under a neutral flag.
