Full list of countries participating at Paris Paralympics 2024

China will be the sending the largest contingent at Paris Paralympics 2024 with 284 athletes.
The Paris Paralympics 2024 is set to start soon as it will be the 17th edition of the games. The 11-day quadrennial event will see over 4,400 athletes compete in 549 events in 22 sporting disciplines. The intense battle for the ultimate glory will take place around Paris in 18 different venues. There will be athletes from over 185 National Paralympic Committees.
The Paris Paralympics 2024 opening ceremony will be held on August 28 and the events will begin from the next day. The games will come to an end on September 8 as only four medal events will be held on the final day.
There is an increase in participation in Paris as compared to Tokyo. During the Tokyo Paralympics, 162 National Paralympic Committees took part as there will be 185 this time. There were 4393 athletes at Tokyo consisting of 2547 men and 1846 women.
Japan as hosts had the largest contingent with 254 athletes, consisting of 148 men and 106 women. This time China will be sending the largest contingent of 284 athletes. India had sent 54 athletes three years ago and this time will be sending in a record 84 athletes at Paris.
