The Paris Paralympics 2024 is set to start in few days as the Indian contingent will be ready to win accolades for the nation. There will be a record breaking 84 athletes in the Indian contingent this time at Paris.

There will be a record breaking 84 athletes in the Indian contingent this time at Paris. The opening ceremony will be held on August 28 and the events will begin from August 29.
India will be competing in 12 sporting disciplines out of 22 at Paris Paralympics 2024. There are defending champions and former Paralympic medallists in the Indian contingent who will look forward to finishing on top of the podium again.
Who are the first Indian athletes in action at Paris Paralympics 2024?
The Indian athletes who will start their events first at Paris Paralympics 2024 are the Para badminton players. There are 13 Indian parashuttlers this time who will be playing their group stage matches at La Chapelle Arena on August 29.
The first set of matches will start from 12:00 pm and the second set of matches will be played 7:30 pm onwards (IST). Nitesh Kumar, Sivarajan Solaimalai, Suhas Yathiraj, Palak Kohli, Thulasimathi Murugesan and Nithya Sre Sivan will be the Indian parashuttlers who are playing singles and mixed doubles events.
