Paris Paralympics 2024: Updated India schedule for Day 4, September 1
Double gold medallist at Paralympics, Avani Lekhara, will be in action.
Indian athletes are set to compete in a diverse array of events at Paris Paralympics 2024 day 4 with medal opportunities in several disciplines.
Para badminton singles matches will start off the day’s competitions with several quarterfinals lined up. In para shooting, Avani Lekhara and Sidhartha Basu will participate in the mixed 10m air rifle SH1 prone qualification.
Para cycling events will feature prominently, with finals scheduled for the men’s 1000m time trial and women’s 500m time trial. Jyoti Gaderiya is among the notable cyclists expected to compete.
Para judokas Kapil Parmar and Kokila Kaushik will start their campaign from the first round, aiming to progress to the finals in their respective weight categories.
In para athletics, Rakshitha Raju will be in action in the 1500m T11 round, while Ravi Rongali competes in the shot put F40 final. Nishad Kumar and Rampal will contest the men’s high jump T47 final later in the day.
Para archery will feature Rakesh Kumar in the men’s individual compound open bronze and gold medal matches. Table tennis will then round out the day’s events, with Bhavina Patel and Sonalben Patel representing India in the women’s singles C3 and C4 rounds, respectively.
