Paris Paralympics 2024: Updated India schedule for today day 10 (September 7)

India will contest in at least six medal events on Day 10 of Paris Paralympics 2024.
Paris Paralympics 2024 is heading to its business end, with just two more days of action remaining. India has so far clinched 26 medals—the nation’s most ever in a singles Paralympic Games edition—and the list could still grow with more days of action yet to come.
On the penultimate day, Day 10, India has a realistic chance of winning two medals. The first will be in the men’s javelin throw F41 event where World Championships bronze medalist Navdeep will look to win his first Paralympic medal. The 23-year-old finished fourth in Tokyo and will aim to reach the podium this time around.
India’s next best medal opportunity will be in the women’s 200m T12 event where current world champion Simran Sharma of India is slated to compete. After narrowly missing out on a medal in women’s 100m T12 event, Simran will eye redemption in the 200m.
There are also two outside chances for a medal. Tokyo Olympian Prachi Yadav, who finished fourth in the 2023 World Championships, will have a slim chance for a medal in Women’s Va’a Single 200m VL2 event, but for that she must first qualify for final A. Dilip Gavit also has an outside chance for a podium finish, but he will need to better his PB by a big margin in the finals to stand chance of winning a medal.
