Score: Sindhu 21-13 14-11 He Bingjiao

5:46 PM Hockey Men’s Quarter final: The British team has had more possession so far, but India wouldn’t mind that. The Indians have defended very well so far. However, India has lost their referral due to some poor judgement by Gurjant Singh.

5:25 PM Badminton Women’s Bronze Medal Match: Sindhu takes the first game in this crucial Bronze medal match.

Two big events set to start, are you guys feeling nervous just like me? Comment and let us know. You can also tweet to us at @KhelNow with #Tokyo2020KhelNow. We will select the best ones and share here.

4:56 PM Badminton Women's Bronze Medal Match: Sindhu's road to semifinals was pretty tough as she defeated Mia Blichfeldt in the round of 16. She then got the better of Akane Yamaguchi in the quarterfinals before losing out against Tai Tzu-ying.

4:54 PM Hockey: In their most recent tour of Europe in March this year, India had faced off with Great Britain in two games where they drew 1-1 in the first game and beat Great Britain 3-2 in the second. India Skipper Manpreet Singh, however, did not read too much into those results and said, “It was good to play Great Britain in Europe which helped us gain better understanding of how this team has been playing in recent times. But they can be a dark horse at the Olympics, and we really need to play our A Game against them.”

He further added, “It was pleasing to score three field goals in the match against Japan. We were creating opportunities in the previous matches, but we were not converting, so it was nice to do that on Friday. I think we have been doing well with the PCs. Again, I want to reiterate that we need to do well in all departments to get the better of Great Britain. We have been building our momentum and obviously tomorrow night we need to continue that.”

4:52 PM Hockey: Taking on Great Britain who have two wins, two draws and a loss from their Pool B encounters, the Indian Men’s Hockey Chief Coach expressed confidence in his team’s ability to get the better of their opponent on Sunday. He said, “To be honest, facing any of the four European teams who have come directly from the Euro Championships was always going to be a difficult Quarter Final game, but I think it really matters on which one you get. But probably Great Britain are the ones we are comfortable with and very confident with. I think if we play the way we know that we can, then definitely victory is possible.”

4:50 PM Hockey: The Indian men's hockey team is all set to take on Great Britain in the quarter-finals of the Tokyo Olympics.

The Men in Blue began their campaign with a hard fought win over New Zealand. This was followed by a heavy loss to Australia in the next match. However, the Manpreet Singh-led side bounced back to win the following pool matches against Spain, defending champions Argentina and hosts Japan.

The Indian team now has the opportunity to reach the Olympics semi-finals for the first time since 1980. Standing in between India and a semi-final spot is a rather inconsistent Great Britain team. Can Graham Reid's boys write a new chapter in the resurgence of Indian hockey ?

4:49 PM Badminton Bronze Medal Match: After losing the semi-finals against Tai Tzu-ying yesterday, all is not lost for PV Sindhu. She will look to pick herself up in the Bronze medal match against China's He Bingjiao and end her Tokyo Olympics campaign on a high note.

4:42 PM Boxing: Earlier in the day, Indian heavyweight boxer Satish Kumar crashed out of the Tokyo Olympics. He lost his quarterfinal bout 0-5 against World No. 1 Bakhodir Jalolov of Uzbekistan. Satish's performance was commendable as he played despite getting injured in his first Olympic bout.

4:35 PM Golf - Men's Individual: Udayan Mane ends his 2020 Olympics journey at rank 56. Senior pro Anirban Lahiri finished his campaign at T42. Both players lost their positions on the final day with below par performances.

We move on to the Women's event, with all eyes of Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar.

4:30 PM Indian shuttler PV Sindhu is all set to play in the bronze medal match on day 10 of the Tokyo Olympics. She is facing He Bingjiao of China for the medal. If she manages to beat the Chinese shuttler, she will be winning the bronze medal in women’s badminton in Tokyo Olympics.

Elsewhere, all eyes will be on the quarterfinals of the men’s hockey between India and Great Britain. India’s medal hopes are rising in the event after Graham Reid’s men displayed some impressive performances in the Pool A fixtures. They come into this game with better form, after collecting 12 points from five games.

[KH_ADWORDS type="4" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]

On the other hand, Great Britain had a mediocre outing in the Pool B matches. They secured two wins, two draws and a defeat, finishing third with eight points. The winner of this match will play either Belgium or Spain in the semi-final.
