The men's hockey and badminton teams will also be in action.

Tokyo Olympics Day 5 will witness several high-profile Indian athletes in action. On Tuesday, several Indian medal hopefuls will be seen at Tokyo 2020. The Indian shooting contingent has been the biggest disappointment so far.

Some of them will have the final chance to come up with the goods at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Manu Bhaker, Saurabh Chaudhary, the Indian men’s hockey team, the Indian men’s badminton team and many others will be in action.

Shooting: 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team (Medal Event)

Teenage shooting sensations Saurabh Chaudhary and Manu Bhaker will team up for the 10m air pistol mixed team event. There were high hopes on the shoulders of the 19-year-olds going into the Olympics. Chaudhary finished 7th in the men's 10m air pistol event. On the other hand, Bhaker failed to clear the qualification round in the women's 10m air pistol event, owing to an equipment malfunction.

However, their record, whenever they have teamed up together, has been brilliant. Bhaker and Chaudhary have won at least a silver medal in the ISSF World Cup in the mixed team at every participation together. They will be hoping to replicate such form on the biggest stage now. Another Indian pair who will be in action in this event will be Abhishek Verma and Yashaswini Singh Deswal.

The event will begin at 5:30 AM IST.

Men’s Hockey – India Vs Spain

Expectations for a podium finish from the Indian men's hockey team are quite high this time around. The Men in Blue had started the Olympics campaign with a 3-2 victory over New Zealand. However, they were trounced 7-1 by World No. 1 Australia in the following match.

The Manpreet Singh-led will be aiming to get their campaign right back on track on day 5 of the Tokyo Olympics. Next up for them will be World No. 9 Spain. The Spaniards started with a creditable draw over reigning Olympic champions Argentina. However, they lost to New Zealand in their next match. This has all the makings for an enticing contest.

The match will begin at 6:30 AM IST.
