World Para Athletics Championships 2025: Updated India schedule for Day 6, October 2

World Para Athletics Championships 2025: Updated India schedule for Day 6, October 2

India will participate in 8 medal matches on Day 6 of the championships.

Day 6 of the World Para Athletics Championships 2025 will see India feature in 9 events, with a total of 13 athletes set to be in action. As many as 8 medal events are there for India on October 2nd.

So far, India has won nine medals in the competition in New Delhi, including four gold.

In the morning session Sharmila will be in action in women’s shot put F57 and Hanry in men’s discus throw F37 finals. They will be looking to do their personal best at the home ground. Paralympian Anisha Rawat will be aiming for a good outing in women’s shot put F46.

In the evening session, Paralympic Champion and Silver Medalist Dharambir and Pranav Soorma will be aiming for another 1-2 finish for India.

Paralympic bronze medalist Simran Sharma will be in action for her 100m heats T12 category. Dilip Gavit who smashed the Asian record in the hearts will be looking to win a medal for India in the 400m T47

Other athletes to be in action are Mohd Yasser, Parveen in Men’s Shotput F46 finals, Dharmaraj Solairaj in Men’s Long Jump T64. Pardeep, Bharatbhai Patel and Unni Renu will be in action in Men’s Long Jump T44.

  • 10:04 AM – Men’s Discus Throw F37 Final – Hanry
  • 10:25 AM – Women’s Shot Put F46 Final – Amisha Rawat
  • 10:39 AM – Women’s 400m T47 Final – Anjanaben Rohitbhai Bumbadiya
  • 5:00 PM – Men’s Club Throw F51 Final – Dharambir, Pranav Soorma
  • 5:05 PM – Men’s Long Jump T44 Final – Pardeep, Mit Bharatbhai Pate, Unni Renu
  • 5:12 PM – Women’s 100m T12 Round 1 – Simran
  • 6:00 PM – Men’s 400m T47 Final – Dilip Gavit
  • 6:32 PM – Men’s Shot Put F46 Final – Mohd Yasser, Parveen
  • 6:55 PM – Men’s Long Jump T64 Final – Dharmaraj Solairaj
