The inaugural edition of the MPP Dink-Off offers a Rs 15 Lakh prize money pool.
Mumbai Pickle Power (MPP), the city’s World Pickleball League (WPBL) franchise, announced that the inaugural edition of its flagship pickleball championship, MPP Dink-Off is being held from November 6-9, across three venues.
The franchise, co-owned by Swiggy, India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform and ace Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, is organising the MPP Dink-Off with support from the League as part of its WPBL On Tour initiative.
With a Rs 15 Lac prize money pool, MPP Dink-Off promises high-octane rallies, packed stands, and a spirited celebration of the sport’s booming popularity in the city.
Highlighting Swiggy’s involvement and the larger growth opportunity for the sport, Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said, “Pickleball is an exciting way for people to connect with friends and family. It’s easy to adopt, inclusive and most importantly, fun to play.

MPP Dink-Off is designed for all ages, genders, and playing abilities. From passionate amateurs to seasoned professionals, the tournament’s inclusive format and community-first approach aim to cement its place as one of India’s most exciting pickleball events.

The tournament aims to provide a platform for budding youngsters to showcase their talent and graduate to the next level, starting with the upcoming season of WPBL.
Participants across three skill levels – Intermediate (DUPR 3.0+), Advanced (DUPR 4.0+), Pro (DUPR 5.0+) will feature in different age brackets (Under 14, Under 18, Open, 35+ and 50+).
The championship features Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles competing in 55 separate sub-categories.
The four-day sporting spectacle will begin with group-stage matches at St. Xavier’s Technical Institute, Mahim, and Apostolic Carmel School, Bandra, from November 6 to 8, culminating in the grand Finals on November 9 at Torba, Bandra.
