TNA Slammiversary 2025 will see Trick Williams defend his TNA World Championship

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) is gearing up for one of its biggest nights of the year, Slammiversary 2025. The pay-per-view event is set to take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, marking the 21st edition of this annual summer tradition.

As one of TNA’s signature shows, TNA Slammiversary will also serve as a celebration of the promotion’s 23rd anniversary, honoring over two decades of innovation, unforgettable moments, and game-changing talent.

First launched in 2003, TNA Slammiversary has long been positioned as one of TNA’s cornerstone events, joining Bound for Glory, Hard To Kill, and Rebellion as part of the company’s “big four” PPVs.

The event traditionally celebrates TNA’s roots, having been established to commemorate the company’s first-ever show on June 19, 2002. Over the years, it has played host to countless legendary matches and star-making performances.

Now under the renewed “TNA Wrestling” branding, TNA Slammiversary 2025 promises to deliver high-stakes action, compelling storylines, and cross-promotional surprises.

This year’s event is already building buzz thanks to two major title matches that have been confirmed so far: Moose will defend the X Division Championship against rising UK sensation Leon Slater, and Trick Williams, fresh off his transition from WWE NXT, will put the TNA World Championship on the line against the ever-charismatic Joe Hendry.

A four-way tag team ladder match for TNA World Tag Team Championship has also been announced for the show where, The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) are set to defend the title against The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy), The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) and Fir$t Cla$$ (A. J. Francis and KC Navarro).

On 7/3 TNA iMPACT, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) attacked TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich. Before being defeated by Xia Brookside and Léi Yǐng Lee, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne defended Slamovich’s title. It was then announced that a double championship bout is scheduled for Slammiversary on July 20th. Jayne is set to defend her NXT Women’s Title against Jordynne Grace at WWE Evolution.

With more matches expected to be announced in the coming weeks, Slammiversary 2025 is shaping up to be a can’t-miss night for TNA fans and wrestling enthusiasts alike. All eyes will be on Elmont as TNA looks to deliver another chapter in its storied Slammiversary legacy.
