WWE legend Randy Orton names his Mount Rushmore of female rappers

WWE legend Randy Orton is known for his devastating RKO inside the ring, but outside of it, he’s got a deep appreciation for hip hop especially female rappers.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Orton opened up about his love for the genre and gave fans a look into his workout playlist. He named several artists he listens to while training, including Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, GloRilla, KenTheMan, Baby Tate, Nicki Minaj, BIA, and international stars like Italy’s Anna Pepe and Spanish rapper Snow Tha Product.

“These women can fucking rap,” Orton said. “It’s a little risqué, and I’m bumping it loud. I have a nice system in my home gym and when I’m working out, I’m playing Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, GloRilla, KenTheMan… Baby Tate, Nicki Minaj, BIA.”

When asked to name his Mount Rushmore of female rappers.

Orton replied, “I think Cardi and Nicki have to be up there. Fuck. Megan and GloRilla.”

The Viper also shared a funny moment about his interaction with St. Louis native Sexyy Red.

“I get in trouble with my wife if I play her songs in the gym,” Orton joked. “I got to meet Sexyy at an NXT show in October and my wife and kids were there. She was great… I don’t know who I’d take off, but maybe we’ll do a top five and throw Sexyy in there, too.”

Beyond being a fan, Orton has also been name-dropped in several hip hop tracks over the years. He reflected on how surreal that experience has been.

“It’s wild — and I felt the love more, and more, and more the longer that I’ve done it,” he said. “Polo G mentions hearing voices in his head like Randy Orton… But Key Glock, I was introduced to who he was because he came out with the song. Because he’s aware of who Randy Orton the wrestler is, that influenced him in some way to make a song and name it ‘Randy Orton.’ To me, it doesn’t get much cooler than that.”
