Nic Nemeth vs Leon Slater for TNA World Championship
The biggest match of the night will see Nic Nemeth defend the TNA World Championship against Leon Slater. Slater earned his opportunity through Option C, relinquishing the X-Division Championship to receive a shot at the company’s top prize.
The young star is now attempting to make history by becoming the youngest TNA World Champion.
Interestingly, two-time champion Nemeth has repeatedly praised Slater’s potential while making it clear that he does not intend to surrender his title. With the veteran champion’s experience going up against Slater’s speed and athleticism, this could be one of the most important matches of Slater’s career.
Xia Brookside vs Indi Hartwell
The TNA Knockouts World Championship will also be on the line when Xia Brookside defends against Indi Hartwell. Brookside has established herself as one of the leading figures in TNA’s Knockouts division, but Hartwell represents a major challenge.
The former WWE star has the size, strength, and experience to make the championship contest difficult for the reigning champion. Hartwell’s move into the TNA title picture has also added another layer to an increasingly competitive Knockouts division.
Six-Way X-Division Championship match
The X-Division Championship will be decided in a six-way matchup involving Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth, Cedric Alexander, Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and BDE. The championship has become vacant following Leon Slater’s decision to use Option C, meaning six competitors now have an opportunity to claim one of TNA’s most prestigious titles.
The match is likely to be one of the fastest-paced contests on the card. Alexander and Swann bring considerable experience, while Navarro, Aichner, Ryan Nemeth and BDE will look to use the chaotic nature of the six-way format to their advantage.
Mustafa Ali vs Special Agent 0 vs John Skyler vs Jason Hotch
Mustafa Ali will defend the TNA International Championship in a four-way match against Special Agent 0, John Skyler, and Jason Hotch. Ali has developed into one of TNA’s most prominent personalities since joining the promotion, and the multi-man format presents a difficult challenge for the champion.
Unlike a traditional singles championship defense, Ali does not need to be pinned to lose the title. That means the champion will have to keep an eye on all three challengers throughout the contest.
The Hardys vs syX
One of the most personal matches on the card will see The Hardys — Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy — face syX’s Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. The rivalry has intensified over recent weeks, with Sawyer and Shaw targeting the legendary brothers. The stipulation should allow the four competitors to take the fight beyond the traditional confines of the wrestling ring.
Importantly, the Hardys are on an unbeaten run for the event and will look to maintain their record, and also look to settle their issues with syX in a setting that suits their willingness to take risks.
Eddie Edwards vs Ricky Sosa
Although there is no championship attached to the match, a victory could provide significant momentum for either man heading into the remainder of the year.
Edwards is one of the most experienced wrestlers on the TNA roster and has competed in some of the promotion’s biggest matches over the years. Sosa, meanwhile, has the opportunity to make a statement by defeating one of TNA’s established stars.
Call Your Shot Gauntlet
The Call Your Shot Gauntlet will complete the announced Bound For Glory lineup. The match is traditionally one of TNA’s most unpredictable attractions, with the winner earning a future championship opportunity.
The field will feature a mixture of established names and emerging talent, making the match particularly difficult to predict. TNA has also built additional intrigue around the contest by determining favorable entry positions through the preceding weeks.
TNA has also confirmed that ODB, The Amazing Red and Konnan will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame before the main event.
