The World title will be contested this week on TNA Impact.
Last week’s TNA Impact delivered the fallout show from the Rebellion 2026 PPV, featuring appearances from EC3, who made his return at the PPV. Mike Santana, after retaining the title at Rebellion, also made an appearance.
During the segment, Santana issued a challenge to Rich Swann, who accepted, making the World title match official for this week.
Furthermore, last week, Léi Yǐng Lee spoke after coming up short in the World title match against Arianna Grace and the shocking betrayal by her best friend and tag team partner, Xia Brookside. While Brookside refused to answer any of Gia Miller’s questions last week, she will explain her actions this Thursday.
In their attempt to ‘break’ the Hardys, Dutch of the Righteous will battle Matt Hardy for the Hardys. The match was set up after Matt challenged Dutch to a match last week.
On the other hand, Nic Nemeth, following his confrontation with Ryan Nemeth and the System backstage last week, the argument led to a heated face-off between Nemeth and Bear Bronson, with Nemeth making it clear that he is not a hard man to find. The two will now battle in singles action this week.
